M.D., Ph.D working on retinoblastoma and other small round cell pediatric tumors in Mexico city. We work directly on primary tumor tissues, getting them at surgery time and thus free from any kind of contamination. We are searching for molecular evidences that might reveal viral etiology on these tumors also making available to pathologist useful molecular assays like RT-PCR and FISH to detect recurrent chromosomal translocations that help in diagnosis of difficult cases.
