I am currently a postdoctoral research associate at the laboratory of Prof Anne Ferguson-Smith. My main research interests are aimed at investigating mechanisms of establishment and maintenance of genomic imprints during mouse development with a particular focus on the KRAB zinc finger protein ZFP57. I have originally obtained a BSc degree in Biochemistry in 2005 at University of Bristol and then went on to do a PhD with Dr Adam West at Glasgow university, where I investigated novel chromatin insulator elements in the human genome.
