4th year PhD student in Neuroscience (expected to end in August 2016) Bar-Ilan University, Faculty of Medicine, Ramat Gaan, israel My research activity focuses mainly on the roles that Epigenetics and Immune System play in the aetiopathogenesis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In order to unveil this relation, we perform both studies on animal models of ASD and on post-mortem brain specimen from autistic patients. Our goal is to unveil new biologic pathways that contribute to the development of Autism: this will lead both to a better understanding of the Autism's molecular basis and to the identification of new pharmacological targets.
